Your foot is on the gas; your hands are on the wheel as you drive the race car by yourself with no lead car to follow. You'll have in car radio communications with your personal racing instructor who acts as your spotter during your on track timed racing session. The adrenaline rush and timed racing session begins when you take off down pit road and ends when you return to the pits. And if you don't want to drive, you can sit in the backseat of a 2 seat, Indy Car for a Ride Along where you'll whip through three laps of pure, heart-pounding speed up to 180 mph. Racing Experience Details-3 hour experiences begin as you drive through the tunnel to the infield garage area of one of the nation's premier superspeedways. You'll check in on pit road at the hospitality trailer, get suited up in racing gear, and attend the Driver's Meeting with the Crew Chief. During the brief driver's meeting drivers go through training and instruction, watch an instructional video, safety instruction and have a Q&A session prior to driving.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Engines! When it's your turn to drive, drivers will be paged by an HME Wireless pager. Get loaded in, buckled up by a crew member, check your 2 way radio and get the "thumbs up" from the racing instructor. You'll feel that engine roar as you take off down pit road on to the super speedway for your timed racing session. YES, passing is allowed! Pass the slower cars as you catch them or get passed on the race track by the Ride Along car. Your Personal Racing Instructor coaches you over the Racing Electronics in car radio the entire time you're driving on the race track. Drivers that have multiple driving sessions will return to the pits between sessions but stay in the race car and prepare for their next timed driving session. Once you're done driving the timed racing session, drivers receive a Graduate Certificate with top speed and Souvenir Racing License for bragging rights.
